Click 4 Compliance is an e-learning company founded by Farzad Barkhordari and Robin Campbell. Farzad is the former head of global anti-corruption at Sun Microsystems, Inc., and Robin is a Privacy and Data Protection expert, having assisted European and US companies on this subject since 1999.
By creating their courses, they have applied dozens of years of legal, training and technology experience to bring about a learning experience that will engage employees at all levels of your organization and make it a cost-effective endeavor.

Farzad Barkhordari, Founder & CEO
Farzad Barkhordari is an attorney who focuses his legal practice exclusively on anti-corruption and compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and related international laws. Farzad spent over 9 years in the Legal Department of Sun Microsystems in California, Washington, D.C., and Geneva, Switzerland, where he was Global Lead for all anti-corruption issues and provided legal advice in a variety of other areas (international sales, distribution, market entry, etc.).
Through his law firm, Barkhordari LLC, he continues to advise clients at the senior management level on international business operations and the complex compliance issues related to anti-bribery, as well as design and audit compliance programs, including training programs tailored to a variety of job levels, responsibilities and cultures. He has conducted and managed on-site audits and internal investigations in many countries. Farzad has extensive experience in emerging markets and has worked on issues in China, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America and has lived in Europe and the Former Soviet Union.
Farzad graduated from the UCLA School of Law and is admitted to practice law in California. He received his BA from the University of Michigan and also spent a year at Harvard University as a visiting scholar in International Relations.
Farzad has lectured at Stanford University, Stanford Law School, Georgetown Law School, University of San Francisco School of Law, and the Latvia University Institute for International Relations.
He speaks French, Italian, and Persian and beginning Spanish.
Chris Farris, Vice-President and General Counsel
Chris is Click 4 Compliance’s Vice-President and General Counsel, bringing over 17 years of experience on a wide variety of legal and management issues. He is part of the Executive Management Team of Click 4 Compliance.
Chris held a variety of senior positions in the Legal and Compliance Organization of Sun Microsystems, including General Counsel of Sun Federal, General Counsel of the Americas (including the US, Latin America and Canada). Chris managed a team of over 30 employees responsible for sales revenues in excess of $6 billion.
His expertise includes Government Contracts, risk management, complex negotiations, legal team management, and corporate compliance. At Sun, Chris led several major projects, including an overhaul of the standard sales templates and processes, as well as a significant expansion of the Legal Wiki at Sun to aid lawyers and contract managers in their complex negotiations. He also advised senior business leaders at Sun on major overseas operations and internal investigations.
Prior to working for Sun, Chris worked for 6 years as an associate at Crowell & Moring in Washington, DC, where he worked in both the Health Care and Government Contracts groups. Chris received his B.A. in Sociology and French from the College of William & Mary in 1989, and his J.D. from William & Mary's Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 1992.
Robin Campbell, Founder & Executive Vice President
Robin Campbell focuses her legal practice exclusively on privacy and data protection. She has spent the last two years working with a major Washington D.C. law firm where she is a member of their global privacy team. She specializes in the development and implementation of global information management strategies for the handling of personal information, including employee, customer, and consumer information. She has also developed expertise in the increasing number of state security breach notification statutes, as well as the pending federal laws, and has advised clients both on safeguard protocols in advance of a breach and response plans after a security breach.
In Geneva, Switzerland Robin worked as a special consultant to Hewlett Packard, Europe when the European Data Protection Directive was in the early stages of implementation. She worked with a cross-functional task force to develop a global compliance strategy under both the EU Directive and the upcoming Safe Harbor requirements. The task force acted as a European advisory body on the new privacy legislation, a central point of contact for all questions related to privacy and data protection, and it promoted a detailed policy framework within the company for handling personal data in its daily business.
Before joining Hewlett Packard, Robin spent 7 years at Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges (now Thelen, Reid, Brown) in San Francisco, California as a litigator.
Robin received her Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Angelo State University. She graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1990, and studied at the University of London where she specialized in international law. She is a member of the California and the District of Columbia bars.

Rod Steedman, Vice President, Business Development
Rod has accumulated over thirty years of international experience since being admitted to practice law in London, including assignments in the U.K., France, Dubai, Singapore, and several locations in the U.S. He worked in the energy sector for Total and Schlumberger and more recently in the high-tech world for Sun Microsystems, where he held executive legal and management positions. Since then he has also taught French to high school students, armed with a Master’s degree in Teaching.
Rod has reveled in sharing knowledge around the world in his legal, management and teaching roles and he is delighted to be associated with the development and marketing of state-of-the-art on-line training courses designed specifically for corporate customers involved in the global economy. Rod has been with Click 4 Compliance since 2006.
